WARNING!!! DO not ever go to this abusive facility! Clarke Ingram should be put in jail for animal abuse!\r \r Just Google Ingram Sit n Stay and you will see an article written about him abusing dogs Back in about 2009. He still abuses animals to this day in 2016 I know for a fact!\r \r \r \r I adopted my dog from him along with signing up for boot camp. Part of his training is that you have to step on the dog's feet to make them do commands, my dog started whining And I was told by the trainer to punch my dog under the chin to stop the whining. Then I was at an evening boot camp with Clarke Ingram, I was not sure of the recall command and asked him to show me how to do it again. He ended up screaming at me in front of my peers, telling me that I have no business owning the type of dog that I do and then he immediately took my dog, Pulled it up by its chain collar and held it up in the air which is called the helicopter maneuver, something that has been outlawed for decades! The only time this Maneuver is ever supposed to be used as if a dog is attacking you. My dog was simply just sitting in front of me waiting for the next command. my dog was choking and spinning around. it was the most traumatic thing I've ever seen in my life!\r \r Then on the occasions that I was allowed to bring my dog home, it started acting up around my neighbors and other animals. When we would go back for boot camp my dog started acting up around the other dogs that it used to be with. Ingram took my dog away from me and refused to let me see it for over a month! I would still go back for boot camp but they would not let me train with my own dog! They did put me with a Weimaraner At one point and that dog jumped up on me and almost bit my neck!\r \r The last time I went out to train with my dog, I basically had to kidnap my dog! I told them that I would be right back with my dog and I got in the car and got the hell out of there!\r \r I called Hillsborough animal control and they know all about him! He has been to court numerous numerous numerous times and over 100 complaints have been filed against him and Ingram sit and stay facility. He simply gets a lawyer and paying a small fine and then continues to abuse his dogs. He ended up keeping all of my money which was over $5,000! But that did not matter to me because at least I rescued a dog from the abuse of place!\r \r I finally got a new trainer that came to my house 3 days a week and my dog was so aggressive that even the dog trainer was scared to death of my dog. We had to start all over with the basic training, then the wonderful training facility that took over just took baby steps with my dog. They only charged me as much as my dogs training ability could handle. They did not take all of my money like Ingram! I did not give up on my dog, thank God I did not, now my dog is the most loving dog in the world.\r \r I have run into numerous people who know about Ingrams sit n stay and the abuse that takes place there. The man is a narcissist ex US Air Force abusive dog trainer! Even his employees are afraid of him. His daughter is the office manager so of course she's going to back him up with any abuse that's going on, because she is part of it as well because she is fully aware what is going on!\r \r call Hillsborough animal control and ask about Clarke Ingram and Ingram sit and stay And they will give you full disclosure on how abusive this man has been towards dogs since 2004!
