My mother and father bought their retirement home from these LIARS about 2 years ago. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! They promise to make repairs that they NEVER make! We have windows without screens, doors that do not hang correctly, cabinets that are falling about, vents in the roof that are leaking... and the list goes on and on. Even the appliances they installed in the house broke or quit working altogether within the first six months. Many promises were made to come out and do the repairs needed. Many times someone would show up to "take notes" as to what needed to be done, and then no one would come back to make the actual repairs. This company is awful! These people are just payed LIARS. You would have more luck with a used care salesman!!! So much for my parent's retirement home at the beach. They never made a deadline in the actual building of their home and now every inch of it is falling apart. Save yourself the unending hassle! Never buy from Clayton homes. They will be so nice and promise you the moon to lure you in, and then the NIGHTMARE begins!
