Review content:
This "center" was not inviting. A bit too dark & claustrophobic. The massage therapist I had, while she apparently knew about massage and how to locate those "knots" , went deep far too soon, never once asked me if I felt her touch was too deep or not deep enough. I physically winced on a few occations which were ignored. I felt as though she was more centered on effectiveness of her giving the massage and not the client's (me) comfort level. I consider a professional MT as one who not only knows massage but also communicates with the client along the way to monitor the client's comfort level...especially with deep work. Also, while I have no problem with a "back to the mother Earth - organic/all natural" mind set, greeting me at the front door in her bare feet didn't leave me with a perception of high hygenic standards. This was not a relaxing pleasant experience for me, sorry.
