Review content:
I called Alpine Climate Control, Inc. because my igniter went out over the weekend. I was working night shifts down at the mine, so I couldn't be here during the day. I asked if they charged more money to come out on the weekend, they said no, just the $100+ they normally charge for any service call. They got the job done. They put in a new igniter. It wasn't the one I needed, but it worked. They had to cut and splice the cords together. They ended up charging me like $450. They said the igniter part was more than $300. I was shocked. After they were here, I called 4 other places to see if that was the going rate. They all said they would have charged me between $200-$250 for the service call. I called Alpine to talk to the manager about it. The owner was supposed to call me back, but he hasn't. The other 4 places said that the igniter part would have been between $60-$80, but not more than $80. I would not recommend this company to others.

Dear Mr. Hutton,
Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. I am sorry that you were unhappy with your experience. We try to price fairly. Our upfront price for the repair includes the part and the installation and we back it up with a full one-year parts and labor warranty. Our upfront prices are fixed so you do not pay more if we have to make multiple trips or mis-diagnose the problem. I am glad we were able to come on a Sunday and fix it for you in one trip and we did provide an upfront price for you before the repair was completed. I will call you to discuss this further, we are committed to your satisfaction. Sincerely, Bob Gates – Owner, Alpine Climate Control.
