Unfortunately, we hired Don to install our deck/stairs going down into our backyard. WHAT A HASSLE AND MISTAKE. Whatever you do - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. \r
We had an estimate from Don for $12,900.00 to install the stairs, THREE landings (one 8 feet by 12 feet) two smaller ones. Trim outside same as existing deck - white stain on sides of stringers and white stain on posts - white vinyl railings - match as close as possible.\r
THIS IS WHAT WE GOT- (see picture) a bunch of rickety stairs smaller than quoted, NO RAILINGS, NO LANDINGS! NOTHING! We paid $11,100.00 We were taken advantage of!\r
I tried three times to get him to come over and talk about making the situation right, but he refused. He said, that since we had already paid him for the work, it was too late to fix anything. It was too bad that we didn't like the work - which he subcontracted out and the subcontractor even said Don ripped us off! \r
