Review content:
I was reading reviews on a couple of emergency vets because we needed to find something for our sick dog early this morning. I actually took our cat, Jimmy, to EC a couple of months ago and found quite the opposite experience as some of the negative posters so I was surprised and I felt the need to respond. Of course, I really think a vet is like any other business, it can depend on the day or the staff at the time, but we had a very positive experience. First, we had no choice at the time: our cat was at the Cat Clinic down the street and was having complications with a surgery. Since they were just about to close, the asked us to come get him and take him to EC. - They were all very friendly and very compassionate. - They were honest and upfront on the possible outcomes, explaining that there was a good chance he wouldn't make it. Note that the doctor said this in a very compassionate way where I've seen other vets state this all so clinically and ""matter of fact"" giving the impression they don't care - Jimmy was there for three days. I was pleasantly surprised by the updates. Certainly more frequent than any other vet we've seen. He called us at the times he had promised he'd call (once early morning and twice during the day) as well as other times throughout the day. - I didn't feel like they were trying to make me feel guilty. I've had this .
