I met Ms. Shirley (Clarke) in 2003 in my search for the "right" childcare for me & my child/children. I knew the minute I walked in the door I had found the "right" childcare center for me & my child?children, and after talking w/ ms. Shirley a bit, I knew for certain this would be our second home. You see Im not what you would call a "normal" parent (?), I am a foster mom and I take the role of "Mommy" with every instinct in my soul. Over the years I have had several children attend Learning Tree, under the direction of both Ms. Shirley & her daughter Terri, and they have always went beyond the call of duty in helping me with our children ("our" meaning community children at risk, looking for safety in a home), along with the amazing (& just as loyal) Ms. Chris, who serves great meals with love & affection to the children in their care. Currently, I have a daughter (foster daughter) who has gone thru much tragedies in her little life, and because of the stability that Learning Tree pr
