I've been going to Midas for over 20 years. I went in 3 years ago for an inspection and was told that I needed rotors, thankfully my husband was with me and said no, not for and inspection she doesn't. They told me it would cost $600 just for the rotors and I needed them right away. It now 3 years later and no one has told me that since. Needed a battery they wanted to charge me $400 for a battery, I checked and the dealer said bring it in we have yours under warranty, I told Midas no thank. They said well we've already taken yours out. I said well put it back in please. I called back and told them that they had over charged me and was told "that's the labor charge that the computer states that it will take. Some go over and some don't, and yours didn't." I was dumb founded. I asked as soon as I walked in, "where are all the old guys, everyone is new? That should have been my first clue. I've trusted this shop with all my vehicles over the years and now this is what you get with their service. I am calling tomorrow for answers and a refund. Let's see what I get then. But, never again, after over 2...
