Businiess name:  Pick Me Up Cafe
Review by:  Michael R.
Review content:
The Pick Me Up is a artsy, popular cafe on Clark, just a few blocks south of Wrigley Field. If you're a vegetarian or vegan, there are few places in the city that cater to your style more than the Pick Me Up, with not only multiple menu options, but also baked goods and sweets that are vegan-friendly. The Pick Me Up is funky and artsy, definitely meant for the younger demographic, but their food is good. However, it gets a lot of grumbling for how pricy their meals are and that criticism is deserved. An average tab will run you about ten or eleven bucks, before tip. Their portions vary in generousity. Some servings are huge, but others leave room for improvement. The food is somewhat trendy, but still good. I particularly recommend thier Garlicious Breast Sandwich, BBQ Chicken Pizzadilla, and their snickers cheesecake, but I've never seen anyone disapointed with their meal. However, the service is friendly, the hours nocturnal, the food a bit trendy, but good, and if you're into a younger, hipper atmosphere, it's worth the few extra bucks.
