Review content:
I know this is a long review but it may make you car buying experience as hassle free as mine. I don?t know about you, but I dread car shopping. Even with all the research and assistance available on-line I always feel like a fish out of water. I knew that I wanted a Toyota Camry; I have another Camry I purchased eight years ago and it is a great car. I went to the closest Toyota dealership (Toyota of Tampa Bay) and received the worst service I have ever experienced. The Sales person left me sitting in his office for 20 minutes with no explanation. As I was walking out he ran up and asked me why I was so impatient. He said it took him that long to ?find? the only car on the lot that fit my needs. After walking ? of a mile, I am a disabled vet and had to stop half way there, he finally brought the car to me. Test drive went well and back in his office I said I wanted to see the car during the day. It was 9pm and raining. He proceeded to grill me to buy the car and finally said ?Tell me the real reason you are not buying the car today? like I was lying. Needless to say I walked out never to return.\r
Still wanting a Camry, I drove out to Wesley Chapel hoping to find a dealership. Spotted one from the freeway and pulled in. I was greeted by Michael Young when I arrived. He was warm and professional. He asked my needs and I explained I was on a fixed budget, being a disabled Veteran and had payment limitations. With that information Michael found me several cars that fit my requirements. Test drive went great and was a great car. Michael knew I had problems at Toyota of Tampa, and asked what he needed to do to close the deal. I explained my limitations and off he went after offering me drinks and a snack. He came back quickly and had beaten my requirements. I then met the business manager Frank and he walked me through the sales process. Michael explained to Frank that I was on a fixed income and payments were very important. Frank said he knew of my limitations but offered me a couple of options that lowered the interest rate and provided me with a three year bumper to bumper warrantee. The lower interest rate allowed me to get the car with the warrantee at the same payment schedule.\r
After purchasing the car, Michael offered to return my rental car. He also filled the tank of the rental at no cost. He also filled the tank of my new car.\r
I was in the hospitality business for 30 years and Michael, Frank and Wesley Chapel Toyota are outstanding. They listened to my needs, provided me with several choices, were always professional and provided me with every CarFax, TruCar, and Blue Book information on the car. I strongly recommend Michael and Wesley Chapel Toyota to anyone looking to purchase a car.
