I brought my 6 year old dog in for a standard nasal flush procedure, because she was having an issue with her sinuses. they brought her in back and sedated her, i had told them I wanted an xray of her head to see if there were any blockages. they didn't do the xrays, they ran tubes up her nose to flush out her nose without knowing if anything was in there. I was called back to the docs office and he informed me my dog has started to bleed really bad out her nose and the doctor said hes never seen this before? so I went back to see her and she was laying in a puddle of blood with blood pouring out her nose and they had no way to quarterise it to stop the bleeding. I said why is she bleeding out her nose from a simple nasal flush? and he didn't know? all I was saying is why didn't you take an xray to see if there was a tumor or something in there ,so apparently they never did the xray and damaged something in her nose , she had blood pouring out her nose and I assumed she was going to die.I walked out to check on my other dog in the car and came back in and they moved my dog to a blanket on the floor with a towel under her nose to catch the blood? really? They create a problem with what they did and they just move her aside so they can get another dog on the table. she was on the dirty floor with an iv in her leg and blood pouring out of her nose as they swept up around her like a piece of furniture .is this how they care for the animals during a procedure ,throw them on the floor to make room for the next? they were so concerned about getting the last few dogs done before the holiday, that they left her on the floor for 2 hours in other dogs blood, hair and trash all over the floor, no private room with someone caring for her and trying to help her, it was a terrible experience, and after 2 hours of sitting on the floor with her I tried to get her out of there ,they hit me with a 200.00 bill on the way out. needless to say I was wiping the blood from her nose for 2 days afterwards, never go there !!!
