Review content:
Lots of reviews from people happy with their brand new water conditioning systems. What if you have had it for a while?
I called last Wed, because we had no water for drinking and cooking, the RO system had quit. By luck (and only luck )the man who has serviced our system routinely for the last 8 years or so, was "in the area," and came out that day. He diagnosed the problem, and installed replacement parts. Parts and labor were $286.12. We were told to wait two hours for the tank to fill, and then flush it by running it until empty. Except it would not run! I called back Wed, and the soonest "anyone" could be here was Friday!
On Friday the tech returned and did another $237.94 in parts and labor, less $133.40 in refunds on the first repair. He said again, wait 2 hours and flush the system. We did, and guess what? NO WATER! So another call to Martin's, and NOW they can't be back until NEXT WEDNESDAY, 7 days since their first visit! Can YOU go seven days without water for cooking and drinking? The well still pumps, so we can wash ourselves and our clothes, but what if it had been the entire water conditioning system? They would leave a customer with absolutely no water for a week? THINK ABOUT IT!
