Review content:
Guitar Center has a large variety of instruments and accessories with an emphasis on bands and individual musicians. As the name implies, there are a lot of guitars and almost every imaginable accessory for guitars. Prices are excellent with regular sales that are fantastic. The selection is wonderful! Also heavy on drums, keyboards, electronics ... you can outfit a whole rock group right in the store, including stands. They have books and such items as mics, too. Guitar Center is like an amusement park for musicians! Easy access, good parking. Employees range from "wonderful" to "what the?" (but in a nice way, not a bad way). LOOK FOR THE SPECIAL SALES -- you will save a ton of money.
PROS: Enormous selection, great prices.
CONS: putting up with lousy musicians testing out the equipment is a bummer
