Review content:
As a former chemical lab technician, I appreciated seeing our existing city water titrated for chlorine, sediment, and minerals, followed by a side-by-side comparison with treated water. We agreed to a Kinetico system, and installation went without a hitch.
The catalyst that caused us to invest in the system was a bathroom remodel featuring tiled shower walls and white grout. The tile installer informed us that our city water would eventually turn the grout off-white to yellow. Hence, the call to Martin.
A small extra benefit: we had been using Brita-processed water for drinking, cooking, and ice making; now, we can use the freezer's ice maker and not taste chlorine in the cubes.
