North Oaks has been an excellent community for my mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease 4 years ago. Initially, Mom lived in a beautiful assisted living apartment which was so clean, bright and safe for her (which was a cheery change from her house where she lived before the move).
Her cognitive decline necessitated a transfer into the memory care unit which the staff facilitated with compassion and skill. At every step of what has been a difficult journey for my mom and our family, the North Oaks staff have provided us with tremendous support and reassurance. The care they demonstrate seems quite genuine and brings us peace of mind that Mom is being treated with dignity and respect. She is in a very safe environment while she also enjoys excellent meals, social stimulation and emotionally/cognitively enriching activities.
We are very grateful for North Oaks Retirement Community and recommend it highly!
