Review content:
I'm writing this review because Air Current helped me and my family when we needed help. Our AC went out, we were short on cash and couldn't afford to pay a technician to fix it. I am a fairly technical guy and was trying to fix it myself as I had done once before. Air Current sold me a capacitor as a courtesy even though that is not really their business. They are a service company, not a supply company. I had already tried to buy parts at places like Johnstone supply, and they wouldn't even sell to me because I wasn't a licensed HVAC tech. Well, the capacitor I thought would be the fix didn't work. I went back up to Air Current and explained what I was seeing. They advised me that it sounded like the condenser motor was bad and I bought a replacement motor from them (which I knew was a good price because I had already priced them on the internet). Then I went back to them again (I know right? again?) because I was afraid I was going to hook the motor up incorrectly and burn it up (motor had slightly different wiring than the original motor). They had one of their techs sit down with me and explain how to hook it up. I was able to install the motor and my kids were comfortable again. I am so thankful and impressed with these people. In a day when companies (like Johnstone supply) don't seem to care about anything but making a profit, Air Current showed that they are different. It was like it used to be in this country , when people had compassion on those who were in a bind. If I ever need to get a new AC system, I'm going to call Air Current. They have won a new customer in me. Thank YOU!
