4/6/2015 - Unfortunately this is another dishonest company. My unit was installed a little over one year ago and with this installation I received a couple of years of free service. Even though this service was included with my contract and there was no charge for today I did receive an invoice via email that outlined what the charges would have been. The charges are below and are outrageous. $85 Trip Charge $89.95 Tune Up $207.00 Coil Clean Seriously? I have NEVER paid more that $69 - $89 total for an AC tune up. With ALL other companies I have used I have NEVER paid a trip charge and I checked the internet after the service tech left and a can of coil cleaner foam is $5.48. I asked the service tech why my unit starts up so hard and loudly and he was so glad that I asked that. He explained that when I purchased my unit I didn't buy the model that has a starter unit that quiets the startup. I didn't know that I didn't buy this. He was also trying to sell me the 10 year service plan at over $1,400 - interest free for one year of course. Frankly, I don't really know what this service tech did today. He did not tell explain one thing about how my unit was running because he was too consumed with trying to sell me something. After I let him know that I was not interested he abruptly left. I did ask a couple of questions about the one year service plan after my free service expires and he asked me why I kept looking at the one year when I should be looking at the 10 year because of the cost savings. I am sincerely disappointed with this company and they are ruining their own reputation with their shady business dealings I will never recommend this company.
