It's worth the drive if you live in the mid-north end. They have the best selection of of fruits, veggies, peppers, mushrooms whateva and at a good price. The all natural beef tenderloin you can cut with a fork! If you want to taste something just ask one of the uber friendly employee's to cut a slice for you. Free cooking classes on Tuesdays! Great natural health, herbal, & bulk section. A fabulous array of cheeses and breads. You can't beat the Asian section! What's really cool is that you can whiz around the isles in your roller skating shoes or on your cart cause it's never too crowded! Overall, I think it's the employee's that always make my trip to the central market and enjoyable one. Next time you need a bunch of wacky ingredients for that perfect recipe or you just have a hankering for some fresh kimchee, go to the Central Market!
