Businiess name:  Cafe Europa
Review by:  Katherine S.
Review content:
I swore off this place. BUT, I had to meet someone on this side of the hill and did NOT want to do the Tullys. So, Europa it was. The coffee is better and most of the signs have been removed. However: The picture of Mussolini remains. The owner gets to do this, as it is his cafe. But, it does offend some who have seen it. Why, you ask? Can't we all just be friends, you ask? Well, let's review WWII history (from Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benito_Mussolini ): Benito Amilcare Andrea Mussolini (July 29, 1883 – April 28, 1945) led Italy from 1922 to 1943. He created a fascist state through the use of state terror and propaganda. Using his charisma, total control of the media and intimidation of political rivals, he disassembled the existing democratic government system. His entry into World War II was on the side of Nazi Germany. So, if the owner is communicating his political persuasion, as he has a right to, his customers also have a right to vote with their feet. We don't have to be so PC as to be spineless, do we?
