When renting here for the first time, you will be told one price, only to be told sorry that was a special (even though that word was NEVER once used on signing the lease) and the rent will skyrocket the next year. One month after moving in, washer broke down, garbage disposal broke, closet doors broke, very little heat, kitchen drain extremely slow and none of the above have worked since and that was almost two years ago, but the rent will be increased, a lot. Month to month lease is $100 more PER MONTH, even though most other apartments are only $50. This place has broken the lease from the day I moved in, yet they only continue to raise the rent. Two floors have the strong odor of marijuana and the hallways, stairs, and grounds are flooded with running and screaming children. I have lost thousands of dollars due to the noise, but no one wishes to discuss this, only offering to transfer me at an increased rate of $55 a month, even though it is my neighbor being overly inconsiderate and not me. If you try to go against the owner, you will be asked not to renew your lease, even though this is retaliation and is considered illegal. There is one old man that snow plows, but only a small path and salt is never used on the sidewalks. The sewer top is sinking into the ground creating a huge, dangerous hole in the sidewalk and the driveway light does not work at that exact location, making a very hazardous situation. In fact, my elderly mother has fallen into this hole, but the management cares nothing about it, only about raising the rent. Here, you are not a tenant, or even a human being, but are seen as only a walking pile of money to be taken advantage of.
