Businiess name:  Wayward Cafe
Review by:  Erica W.
Review content:
I have high hopes that Wayward can continue to survive as a collectively-run business in the northwest U-District/Roosevelt area. I've been there several times and they have a variety of entrees (but if you don't like tofu or seitan, you'll have quite a reduced selection of menu choices) at reasonable prices. The staff are friendly, the food is tasty, and your conscience can rest easy knowing you're buying vegan food from a worker-owned collective. Wayward Cafe is open Tues-Sun, 9-9. If you ride your bike to Wayward, stop by the Community Bike Shop in back of the cafe to use their tools and bike stand for tuneups. They also sell some small bike parts, and have very knowledgeable volunteers (one helped me out extensively with recurring brake problems, and also showed me how to true a wheel - no small feat!). The Community Bike Shop is open Thu-Fri, 4-9 PM, Sat-Sun, 11-5.
