I was a groomsman in a wedding party having drinks on the patio. I ordered my first Martini of the evening from the waitress. She said I'm not your waitress and I should speak with my waitress. I placed an order with another waitress in my area, again, she is not my waitress. Eventually I found my waitress. She stated the tab the father of the bride opened was now closed. I told her I am still interested in my martini and gave her my credit card. My wife later added a drink to the order. An hour goes by and we close our 2 drink tab. It has every tab of every person left of center sitting on the balcony. Apparently the Bellagio will not open tabs for individuals in a group they run 1 tab for the entire group. That group happened to be over a third of the terrace. It took a harassing waitress, management and the hotel's muscle to come to an agreement that they're "policy" is garbage and by ordering a cocktail for myself and my wife I was in no way agreeing to pay for the tabs on the balcony. What an awful end to a beautiful day. Pros: Be prepared to pick up the tab for the entire bar if you step on the balcony Cons: Be prepared to pick up the tab for the entire bar if you step on the balcony
