Owner/operator James and his drivers provided outstanding, on-time, courteous service for my Dad. James was able to accommodate us for appointments on short notice as well as when we needed to schedule several appointments in advance. Vehicles were clean and well heated, and on colder days they would place a blanket on his lap for extra warmth. Dad used a wheelchair, and the drivers made sure that it was always firmly secured in the van. When I wasn't able to do so, the drivers would bring him to his appointment and check him in at the office, ensure that the staff knew who he was, and hand off any important paperwork (questions from adult family home, list of current meds, etc) to the receptionist - very important for continuity of care! Drivers would get an estimate of how long the appointment might last, and dispatch would then call me to check on Dad if the appointment went much longer than expected. Drivers welcomed me to ride to and from appointments with Dad, and were always very friendly and courteous. Drivers understood that Dad was very hard of hearing, and when talking to him they spoke clearly and respectfully. Dad absolutely loved TriCounty Cabulance, and insisted that we call them for all of his appointments. We tried many of the other local services, and ran into many problems (driver bringing Dad to wrong office, not responding when Dad asked a question, showing up late or not at all, etc.). Dad passed away in November 2013. The last few months of his life were full of medical appointments. The excellent service provided by TriCounty Cabulance made those hard times a bit easier. Being able to rely on such a service put my mind at ease. A million thanks to James and his TriCounty crew.
