With all due respect to the others in this board, I have a very different perspective to share with you regarding the Children's Hospital. This has not been the first time either, I should know better... In fact, I was not even the only patient outright walking off their property in disgust. I was at the Miami Children's ER last night 05/24/12. We got there at about 11pm and at 4AM; I had to make the decision to leave for another hospital. They are uncaring and inefficient, ALL OF THEM. There had been people there for six, seven hours, with seriously ill children without so much as a check to see if they had survived the unbelievable delays. Another woman with a newborn walked out not without making a huge scene and yelling at them that she would ensure her insurance did not pay them a cent.
