My parents have had Allstate forever. When I moved to Chicago, of course I looked for a local agent. My realtor recommended I get a condo quote from Virginia. Her office was pleasant to deal with and they did a thorough job of explaining options and coverages to me instead of just selling me a basic policy. I'm sure the commision she made on my $200/yr condo policy was nominal which is why I was pleasantly suprised they spent a lot of time with me. I guess they're looking at future potential business from me.
