If you want to enjoy a great meal and be entertained all at the same time, Mongo’s Flat Hot Grill is where you need to stop for lunch or dinner. It’s a really fun interactive eating experience for the whole family or for that special evening out when you want something a little different than just ordering your food. At Mongo’s you get a big bowl to fill from the fresh buffet of vegetables, seafood, chicken, beef, pasta and more. After your bowl is full of your choices, you bring your bowl to Mongo’s super 72 inch Flat Hot Grill and watch as the staff grills your meal to perfection. You will also get your choice of rice to go with your grilled food creation. After your meal, you can create again at the ‘make your own s’mores’ dessert bar.
To top off your evening, Mongo’s Flat Hot Grill also offers cocktails on its large patio overlooking the St. Johns River. It’s a fabulous meal in a restaurant full of ambience and the best view of downtown Jacksonville that a person could ask for. This has always been a favorite of my teens, but it has an adult atmosphere and is the perfect place to enjoy a night ‘out of the ordinary’.
