We needed our pool opened and me being 6 months pregnant I didn't want to A.) Deal with all the chemicals to kill the algae and B.) Strain myself trying to scrub a 24: round pool. So we ordered their pool opening service. They can't out June 5th. Took the winter cover off, vacuumed a bit, put the pump together, put some chemicals in, told me to fill the pool to the skimmer and run the filter and in 24 hours my water would be clear and good to go. 3 days later the water was still green and had algae. I went and purchased a case of shock and chlorine. Put in 8 bags of shock and chlorine. Next day still green. Called Fun pools Monday June 9th. Informed that guys would come back out take water samples and be sure to get the water clear Wednesday June 11th. Called Wednesday morning, no one ever told the guys to come so they will come Thursday June 12th. Guys finally come Thursday morning telling me they'd be an additional $130 charge to vacuum the algae from the bottom of the pool on top of our already over $400 bill. Never took water samples just dumped more chemicals in the water. I call the office again. The office simply told me repeatedly they don't do maintenance just open the pool. I explained my water was never swimmable so how was it ever opened? He proceeded to repeat himself and could care less of my pool was ever opened properly. Never have I been charged so much money and been treated so poorly. Never will I do business with them again. They can't deliver on what they promise and display absolutely no accountability. Dave one of the pool guys tried to be more helpful after he saw I was upset, but it never should have gotten to that point. Do what it takes to get the job done right!
