Review content:
This hair salon is a slightly better version of Great Clips in Monroe, NC. The manager who is also a stylist has skunk hair with split ends that reach to her ear lobes, and the owner is a weak wine-o who hides her extreme insecurities behind a faux smile. They fried my hair as well as my step moms. The ONLY thing they have going for them is a great location and Kerastase products, that is all. The salon is filthy dirty and when it came time to check out, the counter where a receptionist WOULD be(unfortunately one of the stylist had to check us out due to their short staffing) was appalling. There were half empty 6 packs of soda & plastic bottled wine, which I'm assuming they provide to their clientele. The credit card machine was from the late 90's and kept beeping until the stylist totally disassembled it because it ""always acts up!"" For the $180.00 it cost to get a poor highlighting and trim I would hope the owner cared more about keeping up to date with technology and appearances and would invest a little of the income in more efficient software. There was a Doberman Pincher walking around; which is cute, I guess, for a mom and pop antique store in Pageland but not quite appropriate for an expensive upscale salon in South Charlotte. Don't be fooled by the NY in the title, apparently the owner is from Buffalo...enough said. Save your money and your ends and take your hard earned cash where it will be put back into the salon for everlasting great experiences. Don't waste it here!
