Businiess name:  Aero Grage Door Repair Camarillo

Review content:
I recently had a new belt-drive garage door opener and door guides installed by Steven at this garage door repair company. I'd made calls and read reviews for 6 or so companies in the area, and for the same equipment and service I'd been quoted from $800 to $390 (Steven's price). I was hesitant about just accepting the lowest bid, but the opener was the same brand and model across the board, and I decided to take a chance. I watched Steven throughout the entire installation, which took about 2 1/2 hours. My father was a finish carpenter, and he and I built a house together from the ground up when I was a kid, so I have some feel for craftsmanship and method. Steven is one of those admirable craftsmen who lays out his parts and tools, and cleans and puts things way as he finishes with them. His work was a model of care, cleanliness, and thoroughness. Everything I understand well he did just the right way, measuring carefully, keeping things tight, guarding against various confusions. He knew all of the many parts (which all came in one bag jumbled up together) without having to check them against the list, laid them out in the relevant groups, and proceeded with complete familiarity to plug them in step by step. He finished up with a "tuneup" tightening and lubrication of the new hardware and everything else about the door (a 40-year-old wooden door that had gotten pretty floppy), and specific advice to me for maintenance. Then he took the old opener away to be recycled for partial re-use. He clearly took great pride in his work throughout. He seems to me to be a perfect choice for this job. I'll certainly go to him when I'm ready to replace my old door, and would recommend him to anyone. Highest marks.
