We are very unhappy with Happy Hollow Pet Lodge. We have taken our dogs there several times and everything WAS fine. There was one time when we went to pick up our golden and they told us they only had one golden and it was not ours. His name was Jack. We were devastated and I asked to see the dog. It was ours. We still ended up going back as we were confident that they had just made a mistake. My folks kept their dogs there once when they were here from WI because we had to go to KC. They had to throw out the dogs blankets and pillows on the way back home to WI because they stunk so bad of urine. They asked us why we would go there with ours - but up to that point everything had been OK. We took our dogs back this last Christmas. We should have listened to our folks. Our golden smelled like urine and looked like he had been laying in it when we picked him up. I could hardly stand the smell in our vehicle. I called today to see if they had any openings..only as a last reso
