Businiess name:  Triangle Appliance Repair

Review content:
I have a Frigidaire oven that is under warranty so I contacted the manufacturer to set up repair on 7/31/2014. They set me up with Triangle Appliance Repair for today, 8/4/1014. I took off work today to be here for the window, 8-5. Around noon I called Triangle, and they told me they just got the work order today and would not be able to come. Bear in mind I live in Pittsboro and Triangle said "we'll be in Pittsboro on Wednesday. Frigidaire doesn't dictate our workload". I called Frigidaire back to find out the problem. According to the rep, the service company has 4 hours to accept or reject the work order once it's placed. They confirmed that Triangle accepted the job on 7/31. So, Triangle Appliance Repair said they would be able to provide the service, overstating their availability in order to get more work from manufacturers. Long story short, this is my experience with Triangle Appliance Repair, why I would never use them for any repairs, and why you should beware as well: - They couldn't bother to read the date of the service request. The guy told me "I don't even look at dates. I just knew it wasn't for today because it printed today". I wouldn't hire an employee who couldn't be bothered to read the date they're supposed to show up, let alone a....business?!? - They stated they accepted the job today...not only does this contradict with what Frigidaire said, that they accepted the job on 7/31, but seriously, you don't read when the work is requested to be completed?? - The guy I talked to was not apologetic in any way whatsoever. He moved the blame to the manufacturer several times instead of taking responsibility for his mistake (which would have made a difference. He'd still be getting my business). In fact, he asked me "what are you getting at" when I told him I was getting conflicting information from the manufacturer. You don't get repeat business by being defensive when called out by your potential customers.
