Businiess name:  Pacific Aire

Review content:
After 9 years, I decided to get my air conditioner serviced. Pacific Aire came out and at first I was impressed. They pushed hard for me to sign up for a service contract which promised discounts on any work I might need. Two days after they left, my unit stopped working. A few minutes on the computer identified the problem as a bad capacitor. Pacific Aire quoted me $400 to fix it without the service contract. With a contract, I would get the great members price of $290. The great thing about the internet is there are lots of "how to" videos. The videos all showed how I could fix it myself in under 5 minutes or less. The part cost me $30 mailed overnight to my door. So what does Pacific Aire pay for the part? Maybe $15? And 5 minutes later the unsuspecting consumer has been taken for $400. DO YOUR HOMEWORK and avoid this company!
