BEWARE: Cut Corners/ Fail Inspections/ Break Promises!
I will never do business with this company again, and I will advise others to save themselves the headache.
Cons:
1. I was promised White Columns, they acknowledged this promise but failed to deliver because they forgot to write it on the contract. Nick, the owner, said it was his foreman’s fault for the mistake, yet he wanted me to pay for the mistake. He also did not take any responsibility for the errors made within his company. He gave me a hard time so much so I suggested going to court.
2. I had to micromanage the entire project because they were quick to change the details of the aesthetic.
3. They failed every inspection on my project for not meeting the state and county standards for cutting corners.
4. Terrible customer service. The owner, Nick, not only scolded me, raised his voice, but threaten me- demanding to come to my home that day and pick up the check although I was well within my right to mail it.
5. They leave projects unfinished. I explained to them that the raw material (which can be damaged by the weather) was left untreated, and the owner said, “he liked the color of it untreated”. He completed ignored my concern and said that I had to take care of it myself.
Pros:
The construction workers, (two men) were very friendly.
*Always take photographs, and save every email! I would have been in worse trouble if I had not been organized.
