Review content:
I brought Jeanette's a dress that needed to be taken through the bust. Had I known that she cannot meet a promised deadline, cannot sew a straight line, cannot adjust the thread tension on her machine to prevent puckering, and She does not grasp basic garment design (primarily darts), I would have taken my business elsewhere.\r
\r
When I finally got my dress, it was a mess (you could tell it was in trouble while on the hanger; trying it on revealed horrible bulging hunks of excess fabric along the side darts).\r
\r
After an hour & 15 minutes of trying to correct this problem (at one point actually sewing the dress lining to itself on both sides. OMG.), she actually remarked, "you just don't seem to be filling the dress out." How I managed to not slap her is beyond me.\r
\r
I will wear the dress tonight because I have no choice, but this alteration will have to be redone by someone that didn't flunk Home Economics.
