I have been taking my cats to Critter Care for 14 years. I have taken feral cats, stray cats and also my own house cats. Dr. Portugal has always treated my animals very professionally, even the ferals and strays that I have had to bring in. She treated one of my cats who had asthma and diabetes. To help me save money, she taught me to give this cat injections so I wouldn't have to bring him in for shots every three weeks. With her care, this cat lived over 7 years, which he wouldn't have considering he had both conditions simultaneously. She has always been compassionate and kind when I have had to euthanize any of them for cancer, feline leukemia, stroke, emphysema and other terminal diseases. She even met me at her office one Sunday night at 11:00 p.m. to treat my asthmatic cat who would have died from the severe asthma attack he was having. I have never had a problem getting an appointment when my cats were sick and her diagnosis has always been correct. Her staff have alwa
