Toilet leak at 7:30 pm on a Sunday night, ugh. Called a small business (trying to buy local), the guy came out and quoted us $700. Since we rent, the owner sent him away with a $40 service fee. Then called Rescue Rooter. The phone rep was very nice and thorough and said the plumber would be there in an hour. Exactly one hour later he called back to say it'd be another 45 minutes. Ernesto showed up exactly 45 minutes later. Really nice young guy, he checked it out, told us what he thought was going on and gave us a price quote:$450 with AAA discount. He had to pull the toilet out and snake. He let us know everything he was going to do and got our approval before continuing. He cleared the clog and gave us a recommendation to have them come back with a special camera to see what was happening. (as we have chronic drain problems). He gave us a reasonable quote and they came out and did the work. They showed us exactly what was happening (roots!) and made more recommendations. I thought Ernesto did a fine job and that the company was exactly what you'd hope for: clean, organized, fair, up front, mostly prompt and delivered what we needed. We'd definitely use them again.
