I had a relative in town this summer and wanted to plan a girls day at the spa. I was having trouble finding anyplace with availability on a Saturday as it was wedding season. The owner called me back after hours and assured me that he could fit in our party of 3 for all services that we were interested in. Unfortunately, upon showing up at the Spa on the Saturday morning they did not have our reservation and were not eager to figure out how to help us. The owner called me two days later to apologize and assured me that we would be 'taken care' of when we rescheduled. So, I again made an appointment for myself and a friend for the following weekend and although they had our appt, it was incorrect, there was no 'discount' applied, the rooms are noisey and it was incredibly expensive. The services were good, but...like many things in the Pearl...this place is way overrated and if they expect to stay in business they should appeal to their local clients by following through with their promises.
