Review content:
Inadequate and incompetent diagnosis of issue. Then further delay in providing information to me. I brought my vehicle in for service due to overheating. It was established that there was a coolant leak and the water pump was bad. Autotek performed the service and said everything was complete. A few months later the car over heated again and it was determined that the water pump had once again broken. Autotek replaced the water pump. The next day there was an odd knocking sound from the engine. I had driven it less than 10 miles and decided to take it back right away so that the issue could be addressed. The shop stated that it seemed fine and they could not hear anything, but they wanted to keep it a day and see. I picked up the car again after they could not hear the noise. A few days later the noise was back and very prevalent. I drove the car back to the shop and they keep it for a few more days. At this time the technicians and the manager heard the noise. They guessed it was something to do with the transmission or timing chain. I was advised to take the car back and bring it in at a later date so another manager can figure out what is wrong. When I brought the car in for the last time, they keep it for a day and half and their response now is that there is no strange sound. Suddenly they deny there was anything wrong before and that the car is fine. The lack of communication and sudden change in information is astounding. I have been without my vehicle for over 5 days on this issue that arose after their repairs and now they change their position on whether the car has an issue. This place is untrustworthy and not worth the time.
