Our water heater had crapped out 3 times in the past eight months. Time for a new one. We bought a unit at Home Depot and they recommended using Fast Water Heater to install it. Mitch T came over today, from Fast. He was on time, courteous, and undaunted by the fact that our old heater was mounted in a platform area about 66 inches above the floor of our garage. He quickly ascertained that we did not have some now-standard safety provisions for our heater, gave me a quick, clear, and fair estimate, got a colleague to help him with the take-down / lift up, and got the job done & done well. He installed a proper outside overflow drain line for the heater, sealed all the holes, installed the new heater, leak pan, and overflow tank, insulated everything, and got us up and running surprisingly quickly. He was articulate, polite, and clearly knew what he was doing. Excellent service. It was fairly expensive, but he did a lot of work and the installation was tricky, due to the platform. Fair and square.
