I switched to Whittaker Road Animal clinic after taking my dog to a high-quality, but high-priced vet on the other side of Ann Arbor. Whittaker Road is 5 minutes from my home now so it was the natural choice for a new vet. I found it's not much cheaper than my previous vet when everything was totaled up. The receptionists weren't real friendly, and didn't make me feel very welcome when I first walked in. The vet tech was nice though, and I was very impressed with Dr. Contreras. He was friendly, caring, and left room for me to ask any questions say it was "My time to get anything out there that I need to." Like I said, it cost quite a bit more than I expected and was told over the phone, however, it's close by and I'll likely go back. It's difficult to find a good, but low-cost vet around.
