Review content:
This was my first time boarding my dog and it will be my last!!!! This facility is TERRIBLE and needs to be shut down! After picking up my dog 9 days after dropping her off I noticed that her paw pads were swollen and red and she wouldn't open one of her eyes. I texted one of the employees and she said that she was fine when I picked her up so she wasn't liable for anything. The next morning I took her to the emergency clinic and the vet determined that she somehow got an ulcer on her eye and a chunk of her cornea was gone!!!! She also had dermatitis on all four of her paws! I hate this facility and have found many other reviews that claim that they had to pay hundreds of dollars in vet bills because of things that have happened in Grassy Creek's care and one review from a person who's dog died in their care and they did not even call the owner to tell them!!! Now my mother and I are facing hundreds of dollars in vet bills and a potential $1500 surgery! We gave the owner a call to see what she was going to do about this and she was very rude and said she wasn't paying a dime and she wasn't responsible for anything because our dog was fine when she was picked up! She is only in this business for the money and doesn't give two hoots about any of the animals in her care! DO NOT PLACE YOUR BABIES IN THE CARE OF THIS MONSTER!!!
