Review content:
Haven't been to Cottage Crafters in ages. The last time I was there they had redone the store and with many new venders. I had also noticed the prices had gone up considerably but that was happening everywhere. I bought an adorable narrow corner oak hutch at CC about 12 years ago. It was well made and the price was affordable. Now, I can't seem to find anything like that anymore for a good price. Everything today is made so cheaply. I searched the internet but all I could find was either cheaply made corner hutches or exorbitantly priced ones. Very frustrating and disappointing that in this day and age that I can't find what I'm looking for. I wish I knew how to make my own. My hub has the tools so maybe he can try it out. In the meantime, I will keep checking CC to see if any venders will have something available that I like and can afford. I realize that the economy is not the same and I will undoubtedly have to pay more than I did 12 years ago, but it should still be somewhat reasonable. Just the same, I'm glad that there is such a place as Cottage Crafters. I use to take my mother there and it was so relaxing and quiet. We loved the vintage music and lovely scents in the store. It's a keeper!
