I bought this system for my parents who had a failing drain field. Thye were pumping their septic tank every 2 weeks or so. There was so much sludge in the bottom of the tank it could be removed when emptying the tank. The field was obviously plugged with Biomat. My brothers and I easily installed the unit. We thought we would have to at least pump the tank one or two more times before the Aerostream did it's thing. Wrong! the unit began working immediately and we have not pumped the tank since. it has been about 4 months already. We are all very impressed.
