My new home came with a kitchen full of new Jenn Air appliances. It also came with a second oven. We noticed that the second oven door did not seem to seal completely. A tech from the installer was called out to look it over, and said the doors do not close tight until they are used, to allow venting. We only need a second oven once a year (Thanksgiving), so when we turned it on, it would not warm up. I noticed that if you held the door closed with your hand (or prop a chair up against the door) it would heat up. We called the manufacturer who sent Capitol City out to do the repairs. They "tightened" the hinges and said everything would work great now. We used the oven again ((+1 year) on Thanksgiving ), and I went to open the door to put in a pie, and the (35#+) door came off in my hands from the (repaired) hinges.\r \r Capitol City refused to admit that they had anything to do with it, and would not repair it now that the repairs were over 6 months old.
