I had a transmission problem. I know Bill outside of his shop, so I went to Gateway Transmissions. Max, his son, mainly does most of the contact work. Bill is a great guy, and Max is a good son. It all just ended up being extremely expensive, just like my other experiences with every other transmission shop. The tab ended up being about twice what I had thought it would be.
It also took a long time to do it. I know they were transitioning, but there were times I didn't see a lot of activity in the shop. I went back to them for more work, and I am not knocking them, but it was more of the same I've experienced elsewhere.
