Our experience with Gene Johnson Plumbing and Heating Inc.'s service has been great. We like that they are a family business. However, we would not recommend them to others.
When we needed a new water heater, they quoted us at $1,575 plus tax. We found the same water heater at a different company for only $900 plus tax. That's a big negative in our opinion. It made us wonder if they were overpricing us for other services we had done by them. We were very disappointed by this huge price difference because we really liked Gene Johnson.
We would tell anyone considering using Gene Johnson that the service is great, but they should do a cost comparison before hiring them. We don't know if other companies will provide the same kind of quality customer service, but the prices were way off the charts for us. We are sorry not to be able to support them.
