Review content:
I have used Second Time Around about three times in the past two years as a consigner. It is always a disaster. One time the store lost two designer pieces but for one of the lost pieces, they paid me. The other was ""lost"" and they are not responsible for lost items. OK, I figured I would have donated it anyway. Recently, a different STA lost two items, found one (I NEVER saw this item on the floor btw) and refused to compensate me for the lost, designer blouse even though it was in their records. Both stores have a dreadful, sweaty odor and, are jam-packed. I can see why some people appreciate these stores for the occasional good deal, but I am surprised they can stay in business with their really low consignment fees, inefficient system and unhelpful staff (although they are usually friendly in that ""I smile at everyone"" way). I will never consign with them again. I will either find a better operation or donate my items, just to avoid this experience. I tried!
