Very astute observation and reasoning in your explanation about shunning.\r
Previous Post: Those who have left Lakeview are considered reprobate by the dwindling number who remain because their authority figures tell them it is so. Consequently, many of our reviews are being “re-interpreted” to reinforce the leadership’s indoctrination. But by their own inconsistencies, Lakeview’s leadership is losing the battle as we on the outside continue to expose the serious doctrinal error within. So let’s be careful to extend as much grace as possible to the members of this congregation. This is a spiritual battle, and the tide is turning! We can continue to trust that the Holy Spirit will move on individual hearts to spring our loved ones from their prisons, and reunite us in a more lasting and mature faith. \r

Let us be patient to allow God to work His purposes in us and in our beloved brothers and sisters. Let the Holy Spirit move through whatever convictions are in their hearts, praying that God will bring deliverance by providing undistorted revelation through His Word. Pray that members may begin to understand the Bible directly--apart from the distortions of the system. Mercifully, God has delivered many from Lakeview! The former members of Lakeview now outnumber their current members!
