I would not recommend this kennel to anyone. First, I must say that although I did not use the grooming service the groomers (or women working in the grooming area) were the ONLY ones who were polite and provided professional customer service. \r \r First issue- I called back in December 2013 to get a quote for my dog's stay. I was advised that the pricing would increase for the new year. This was not a problem as many company's increase their rates as needed. However, even with this new charge increase we were quoted one price at time of reservation in January 2014 and then upon checking out were charged a higher fee. Even when discussing this increased fee and what we were originally quoted, Megan, receptionist at front desk, did not honor original quoted charge. \r \r Second issue- The customer service provided by Megan was extremely unprofessional upon dropping off my dog and when returning to pick her up. Additionally, when asking her to split the charge on two credit cards she rolled her eyes for having to do an extra step. As someone who works in customer service, I was shocked at her unprofessionalism and extremely poor customer service skills. Just for her negative attitude alone, I will never return to LPL.\r \r Third issue- Per LPL's FAQs and website I followed the instructions to reintegrate my dog back to her normal schedule. Since picking her up (within the last 24 hours) she has had multiple episodes of vomiting and diarrhea. Also, within the past week under LPL's care she has lost at least 1lb. I understand that my dog could've experienced anxiety away from home, but the fact that even with multiple calls to check on my dog, none of this was expressed to me. \r \r Fourth issue-Upon picking up my dog, I noticed on their cameras that they hooked up my small dog to her leash and allowed her to run up and down the aisle/walkway between the kennels with the heavy lead on her vs. bringing her back to me then going back to grab her pillows and food.\r \r I have lived in several states and boarded my dog previously. The experience I had with LPL was very negative, unprofessional, and below the bar compared to other kennels in the industry. I would recommend anyone who is looking to board at LPL look elsewhere. \r \r
