Review content:
This was my first drug treatment program and I learned a lot about me. I learned that I have a responsibility to learn my good qualities and my bad qualities that I might need to change-- no one else can do that for me. The counselors "go hard" as they made me aware of what I wasn't wanting to look at to help myself. The residents here are awesome, they really cared about me and I made some really good friends. This place took me away from all the ugly things in my community and helped me see the beauty in me. The program schedule and groups were all put together so that I could apply the information in my own life without thinking that things outside of me can make me upset (CBT). Thanks Ace Camp you may not realize that you made a tremendous impact on my life and I will always remember my retreat counseling experience as what I need to change about me not other people.
